I am organising an EVNT, Silicon Rheino as part of the Futuresonic Festival (Futuresonic is the UK's leading festival for digital culture, and this year was nominated for the prestigious Lever Arts Prize.)
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom
I want part of this EVNT to be a demoscene party and I have secured sponsorship for a venue to hold it in.
I should also be able to get hold of basic equipment for group viewing (i.e. low-power PA and some form of HR display).
Perhaps I should mention the venue also has a bar!
Anyway, here it is - I'm looking for people who would like to come along and exhibit their their demos.
I'm also hoping to get one or two (modest) prizes from other sponsors - which may be a bit more dfficult in these troubled times but I'm giving it a shot.
