Topic:  the best parties ??
* Posted by Tony83 Friday 7 January 2005 - 13:27
Hi everyone !

I'm back after a long trip far far away from the demoworld...

I would like to hear some advices : which are the best parties ?? I can't download all releases... (too long, too BIG).

I took tum04 for the moment. an idea ??

Another question : why can't I switch to ftp ?
(I manage some days, but..)

THANX !

Releases wise, i would say breakpoint and assembly.

Never had a problem with switch to ftp. Normally use FileZilla or FlashFXP and FTP that way.
Would recomend Chaos Construction 2004 as a good party and gathering 04 is not bad!

Best as "more fun"?
Breakpoint (for the scene overdose), Buenzli (for the classy atmosphere) and BCN (aiiiiiiiii).
If you want stunning releases, don't miss the democompo at Assembly.

The big ones:

- Assembly
- Breakpoint (also worlds biggest sceners only party)
- The Gathering

Other cool parties:

- BCN Party
- Buenzli
- Evoke
- Scene Event
- TUM Party

Hmm what else, there's of course more. Sorry if I forgot anybodys favourite ones. :) Ojuice 's partylist is always a good start for taking a closer look what's going on.

If you are just looking for the demos released at those parties you can always check www.monostep.org
There is a pretty good selection of the 'better' releases available including some screenshots.
