| | Topic: | inexperienced user trying to get ahx-tracker on disk | | | Hi !
Could anyone help me out with an disk or an ADF file of the AHX tracker? I'd greatly appreciate it.
I'd like to make music on my Amiga, but when I downloaded the file ays-a233.lha from this server, I was left with a bunch of amiga files I couldn't do anything with. I tried ADF opus, but it seems full of bugs. When I still somehow managed to get the files into the adf and ran it with winfellow, it loaded some kind of disk program.
Thanks!

how cool! This is like balm over my frustrations. Thank you so much for replying and helping me out. I will wait until you update your website and then grab it.
I'm also going to print out your tutorial, since I am a newbie with AHX. Kind regards - Andre
| Hey Anakirob,
thanks a bunch! Workbench? You mean, I have to put in the workbench disk first... oh. Let's see if I've got one.
Yes, that was me in the Hively-Tracker forum, I totally forgot about my post there. I must have thought it'd notify me by email and forgot about it. So I've pestered you and another guy about it. Let's see which one works better! :P I look so forward to it either way, thank you anakirob!
| Can you believe I still haven't got it to work? Well, here I am. Before I buy kick-roms and work benches on ebay, I tried it with the WinUAE. I put in a Rom 2.0, put in the first of 4 Workbench 2.04 disks. It loaded up fine. But when I put in the AHX disk and open it, I get an empty window.
Are you saying, I can't just load that program from my kickstart 1.3 Amiga 500 or my Amiga 2000 ? I feel like I know why Amiga didn's survive the big market.
Still I would have liked to make chip tunes!
