| i`m at the gathering right. (2cond largest computer party in the world.) and i see this demo... and i think, this shit is fucked up, i wanna learn this, be good at this, i wanna be known in this comunity. then i`m like, i dont know shit about this... can someone please point me in the rigth direction.

| actually, It doesn't really matter what you use to code, platform, or language - so long as you're comfortable enough with it that when you encounter something that doesn't work the way you thought it was, you can try to fix it without spending all day trying to figure the language/platform out.
That said:
There was an excellent tutorial done by Duckers at the gathering a few years ago. Look for that, or ask someone from the Norwegian scene to point you to it.
There have been other tutorials at Assembly and at Breakpoint; check Breakpoint.untergrund.net for 'after the party' and 'seminars' for some hints there.
But mostly your biggest help is going to come from talking to folks. Luckily, in Norway, there's a good support group of sceners who'll help you out. I'll see if I can bug one of them to pay attention here (: | | |
