 | | Topic: | Help locating a few old songs (mods) and a demo (xerxes) | | | Hey guys,
In a bit of nostalgia, I dusted off the cobwebs and started to listen to a few mods I collected way back in the day. Listening to tracks by basehead, necros, and mickrippon sure brought back a lot of memories.
Anyways, I noticed two that were missing, the first one being of the earliest mods I happened to listen to sometime around '93 or so; I believe this mod was included in of the early tracker program. So, this particular song starts off with the sound rainfall. You then hear a car come into the picture and the sound of windshield wipers going. A person gets out of the car and closes the door. Then the actual song starts and the rhythm is moderated by a few simple beats. Somewhat ambient techno-ish.
The second song (.IT) was released sometime between '96-'97. You hear wind and then a drop of water. This water sample continues throughout this mellow techno song. I've been trying to relocate this song for ages.
The last, but not least, request is for the identity of the demo that featured Xerxes's endscroll theme. Somehow the XM version of the song didn't get the piano sample down right as heard in the demo.
Thanks alot guys! And cheers to the original composers! | | |
