 | | Topic: | AVG Detecting a Virus | | | | Well once in a while AVG will detect some virus that's in a lot of demo exe's I have on my computer. I just let it delete them, but I don't believe it's a virus. I can't remember the exact name, but I'll report that next time. Anyone else have this trouble? | | |
| | Quite a lot of 4k and 64k intros "suffer" from this, even though there is no virus there. I believe this is related to the packing/self-executing super secret mega code that these programmong ninjas use :) | | |
| If its Win32/NSAnti, it's not a virus but means AVG just detected the demo used a packer it believes used often in Virus.
In this case ignore what AVG says. Deactivate AVG temporarely to run the demo. | | |
| | Thanks. That is what it finds. I was pretty sure it wasn't a virus, and now I know for sure. | | |
