Dear sceners,

The first volume of the big book about the history of the demoscene is completed, and is already being prepared for printing. It contains the complete history of the Commodore 64 and the Amiga scene on ~350 pages, with hundreds of colorful illustrations, screenshots and photos. Our plans are to release it at the end of July, at Assembly 2005. The planned price of this high quality book is 35 Euros.

The second volume, which will contain the history of the PC, Atari, Macintosh, Sinclair and console scenes is to be released in 2006.

Please, if you’re interested in buying a copy, drop me an e-mail. Also keep an eye on www.freax.hu for updates.

Sure it was me. Freax Vol. 1. is completed and is out now - well, almost, as it'll be announced at Assembly 2005.

The final figures: it's 224 pages, with 485 color illustrations, and it costs 24.90 Euros. You can already order it from go64.de, and soon also from some other resellers.
