PINS AND NEEDLES are proud to present their first ever release and we are very happy to welcome NO DIAL TONE to this special occasion with their release I REALLY WANT THIS. The dj and production duo from Oslo is no stranger to the industry with releases on Cimelde and Eleflight Records and their infamous live and dj sets all over Europe as well as at their own monthly club night Lipstick in Oslo. The main track on this release I REALLY WANT THIS is a driving Deep House track with a groovy low end, pumping House beats, beautifully arranged synth and chord layers and uplifting vocal parts. The second original track WORDS IN MIND is a more laid-back, funk influenced House piece with massive chord patterns which move with a sense of cautiousness through chambered space. The carefully arranged, dust eaten drums and the funky guitar loop which highlights regularly throughout the track purely reflects NO DIAL TONE's diverse production talent and their influences and ideas taken from their amazing live shows!
To celebrate such a fantastic first release we have no other than one of PINS AND NEEDLES' favourite producers at the time, TAUSEND as one of the remixers. Based in Venice, Italy, this young and widely talented producer has been releasing his work on labels such as Roots&Wings Music, Natura Viva, Crossworld Records and many others and expectedly delivered a massive remix of I REALLY WANT THIS. Also on remix duties was no other than PINS AND NEEDLES label founder PHILIPP ORT who took the chance to transform WORDS IN MIND into his own deep and drastic House style which has become the perfect addition to this very diverse package.
