Topic:  Watching demos as videos

Hi I was wondering if there was an easy way to record some of these demos in an avi format. I've tried running the demos and using screen capturing software but the result is usually pretty choppy.
The reason I ask is that I have a screensaver which shuffles through avi files and plays them at random and I thought it would be cool to have a couple demos thrown in as well. Any suggestions would be helpful.

well, there is always kkapture.

it has been made specifically for capturing demos,
so maybe it does the trick.
