Topic:  NFO render to PNG -> wrong font
* Posted by BarZoule Wednesday 22 September 2004 - 20:10
It seems you were using the Terminal font, but I noticed you recently changed the font.

Some .NFO/.diz (including mines) are using special DOS characters (only availlable in the Terminal font under Windows) to make up some good looking ASCII art.

Do you plan to revert back to the old font, or do you plan to keep the "compatibility break"?

We're now using terminal6 GD font.. but it seems it does not contain high acsii chars. I dont know if libgd is able to show high ascii, but I'll see what i can do.

Before we were using a PNG 'fontfile' out of which the chars were cut.

Does anyone have a terminal truetype font that contains all high ascii chars? If so please mail it to me, then I can convert it to a GD font.

I think it is solved now, I found another GDF terminal font that does contain the high ascii chars.

If anyone has a truetype terminal font with high ascii chars it is still welcome tho, so we can scale the font to our likings.

Thanx for the swift fix. I fear you won't find a tretype vertion of the terminal font, mainliy because it's a bitmap font instead of a vector one.
