| First, there was never an MC7 so I don't know why you'd call it 8. :)
Second, I'd suggest you respect r3cgm (Snowman) and the other former Music Contest organizers by not taking their compo name. There were plans to bring back MC, but he eventually gave up.
So, if you called it something else, put in the same amount of effort, and updated the rules to represent modern tracking, I'd definitely look forward to it.

| thanks phoenix :) I was already thinking of something different but couldn't think of anything appropriate yet to catch enough attention..
there is a page describing some stuff about MC7 which never took place in 2003, so that's why I called it 8.. whatever.. the idea is to try to bring back that amazing cooperation that was going on in the mc1 to mc5 between musicians (scene or not), i couldn't care less about the name..
any suggestions anyone?

| Snowman, if you're reading, let the world know if you are interested in running another Music Contest, and how people might be able to help.
I don't have a clear idea on the amount of time I can spend on it, but if you are not planning on running an Music Contest, I might be doing a smaller music compo next summer. | | |
