Hey! Thought id just give small presentation.
Ive been coding gfx/demo effects many years ago, in MCGA(int 13h) Screenmode(DOS-DAYS, with a fixed palette of 256 colors, to play with. So effects were made a little different back then. :)
So, Im not totally new to the subject, and some general concepts like timing, 3d transformations, etc is not really new(but need refreshing) to me.
What is totally new to me tho, is how to do nice truecolor realtime-effects in 32bit (ARGB/RGBA) colormode. Looking forward to see what can be accomplished.
I dont really like the hardware-accelerations, Im working on my own software-render atm, porting my old DOS-Code to GDI and DDRAW, mebbe thats craazy today :)
Oh and im a 100% ASM kinda guy... cant code anything else. Can read alot of language but not write...
Hope to learn and mebbe give a few tips around here.
Peace out!
