Scene.org is looking for a Web Programmer SCENE.ORG IS LOOKING FOR A WEB PROGRAMMER
The Scene.org staff is lacking currently a web programmer to help
keeping up the services. We're looking for PHP gurus that have strong background in web programming.
You have completed or have been part of developing at least one major website
or are confident you could handle a development of a full-sized portal.
Also, good knowledge on SQL (and MySQL in particular) is required. If making things
look good in proper XHTML fits into this formula on top of this, you might be just
the person we're looking for.
In particular, you will be working on the following projects:
- Maintenance, designing and building a future version of the Scene.org portal.
- Building a system complying with Creative Commons license for uploads, and related
admin system for processing the files
- SceneID development and syndication
We're especially looking for individuals who can be both team players but
can also work on their own. On the benefits side there's not that much to
offer - as it's all voluntary work, nobody gets paid. However as a staff
member you'll get automatically a Scene.org email account and homepage
space, as well as a shell account. A known track record in the demoscene
is an advantage when we're selecting the staff members, so please tell
a bit about what demos, music, graphics etc. you've done, or what
parties you've visited. Also tell us why you would be the one we
should choose into the staff! :)
Send you applications by email to ...@scene.org">staff. If you want to contact us directly, try to catch people with black Scene.org staff t-shirt at Assembly in 2 weeks. Keep up demoing! Added: 18 July 2006 << back |
