Deadlines:

Deadlines are in the Spring. Prepare Early, Specifically if sending material from abroad.

Animation Festival: 
Animation Festival is "an invitation to all animators, scientific visionaries, interactive performance artists, software designers, and visual effects magicians." Everyone at SIGGRAPH goes to the Electronic Theater, the best of the Animation Festival. This is the best way to get demos in front of the most people - in a format which they are already used to. 

Making a submission is not prohibitively difficult nor expensive! Demos have been accepted in the past, and welcomed by the community with great fanfare during our past presentations.

Remember to include a brief notice in the video that the work is real time on consumer PC hardware (or something similar)

Art Gallery
The Art Gallery accepts still images.

We have hosted the following in the past, but will probably not do so again.

Panel Session: 
A large presentation in one of the big presentation rooms, this is part of the main conference track.

Birds of a Feather Session: 
Side meeting to gather people, where we can have speakers and show demos. This is our own show, and we will use it to focus exclusively about demos and the scene. This will be one of many events occurring at SIGGRAPH, people attending will be directly interested in demos, or finding out about demos. 

We organize this, you just show up.
